Lois Marie Penick

February 19, 1931 - January 27, 2017

Lois Marie Toole Penick of Dry Ridge, KY was born February 19, 1931 in Grant County, KY and died Friday, January 27, 2017 in Dry Ridge, KY at the age of 85.

She was the daughter of the late Kepple and Hazel Steinius Toole, a retired clerk for the Grant County Circuit and District Court Clerk’s office and former employee of the Grant County Farm Bureau, and a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Linville Penick in 2012.

Surviving is 2 daughters, Linda Taylor and Cathy O’Nan Penick both of Dry Ridge; 2 sons, Jerry (Linda Sue) Penick and Kevin (Ruth) Penick both of Dry Ridge; 6 grandchildren; 7 Great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Imogene O’Banion and Elaine Sargent both of Dry Ridge.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge followed by burial in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00-2:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
