Frankie Ryan

August 3, 1937 - January 26, 2017

Frankie See Webster Ryan of Verona was born in Williamstown, Kentucky on August 3, 1937 and passed away at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood, Kentucky on January 26, 2017 at the age of 79.  She was the daughter of the late William Pack and Alice See Webster.

Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. "Mike" Ryan in 1999.  She is survived by her daughter, Donna Ryan of Verona; her sons, Danny Ryan of Walton, Dale Ryan of Verona and Dave Ryan of Verona; her seven grandchildren; her five great grandchildren and her sister, Alice Jill Simpson of Union.  Two sisters, Patsy Clayton and Mary Ann Orsborne died earlier.

A member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, Mrs. Ryan was a retired Rural Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service and a former Postmaster of the Elliston, Kentucky Post Office.  She was a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association and a former member of the Verona Life Squad.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092.  The visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 - 7:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
