Mary Huff

February 29, 1928 - June 26, 2016

Mrs. Mary Huff of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Sunday, June 26 at the Grant Center Nursing Home in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 88. Mrs. Huff was born February 29, 1928 in Mt. Sterling, KY. to the late Stella Byrd Coomer and Harlan Coomer. Mrs. Huff was a homemaker and former waitress at the Halfway House Restaurant in Williamstown. Mrs. Huff was a long time member of the Sherman Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens.



In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Huff, Jr. in 2007, by a son: Darrell Huff in 1973 and by a daughter: Sandy Greene in 2010 and by a granddaughter: Missy Spillman in 2016.



Mrs. Huff is survived by a son: Gary Huff and his wife Jeanine of Dry Ridge, KY., 2 daughters: Peggy Lawson and her husband John of Independence, KY., Joy Adams and her husband Mike of Berry, KY., a brother: Frank Coomer of Taylor Mill, KY., 2 sisters: Edna Sipple of Latonia, KY., Pauline Hamlin of Dry Ridge, KY., and she was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.



Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Huff will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, July 2 at the Sherman Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Tarasiak officiating. Visitation will also be Saturday at the church from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
