Bobby Charles Jones

July 1, 1936 - September 2, 2015

Bobby C. Jones was born July 1, 1936 in Covington, KY and passed away Sept. 2, 2015 at his residence in Dry Ridge, KY at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Harley and Sue Ella Fryer Jones.

Bobby C. was a retired millwright for Rock-Tenn in Cincinnati, OH and amember of theLocal Millwright's Union. He loved boating, fishing and his cats. He was well known among his friends for his fireworks shows on the July 4.

On Oct. 8, 1988 Bobby was united in marriage to Diane Gutmann Jones. In addition to his wife of 26+ years, he is survived by a daughter: Brenda Menninger of Dayton, KY; a sister: Ruth Owens of Covington; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Bobby C. was preceded in death by two brothers: Harold Jones and Harvey Jones as well as a sister: Dorothy Clifford.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 at the Dry Ridge Christian Church. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral on Saturday.
