Allen Ruber

July 26, 1943 - August 31, 2015

Allen Ray Ruber was born in Covington, Kentucky on July 26, 1943 and passed away at his residence in Dry Ridge, Kentucky on August 31, 2015 at the age of 72. He was the son of the late Harry Dillon and Margaret Lafollette Ruber

On November 23, 1963, Allen was united in marriage with the former, Wanda Fay Bowen. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by one son, Jeff Ruber and his wife Emily of Dry Ridge; his brother, Gary Ruber and his wife Donna of Georgetown; eight grandchildren: Cayman Schwartz, Caylee Ruber, Carrigan Ruber, Colt Ruber, Chesney Ruber, Josie Ruber, Hunter Ruber and Jenna Ruber; two great grandchildren: Gunnar Spoonamore and Dawson Griffin. One son, Craig Anthony Ruber preceded his father in death on October 28, 2012.

Mr. Ruber was a lifelong farmer and formerly was a mechanic for Queen City Chevrolet in Cincinnati. He was a member of the Grant County Cattleman's Association and a member of the Grant County Fair Board.

Funeral services for Mr. Ruber will be 11:00 AM, Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Memorials are suggested to the Sherman Full Gospel Church, 3195 Dixie Highway, Dry Ridge, KY 41035.
