Lillian Smallwood Brown

May 5, 1929 - August 22, 2015

Lillian Smallwood Brown was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky on May 5, 1929 and passed away at the home of her daughter in Crittenden, Kentucky on August 22, 2015 at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late John William and Leah Neal Smallwood.

Lillian was the widow of Oram Brown who died February 19, 2001. She is survived by her daughter: Donna Plunkett of Crittenden; sons: Joe Gordon of Independence and Jerry Gordon of Crittenden; brother: Ray Smallwood of Crittenden; seven stepchildren; ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. One brother, Bill Smallwoodpreceded Lillian in death.

A member of the Violet Church of Christ, Mrs. Brown,was a homemaker. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY 41030. Visitation will be Tuesday from Noon until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass or Mentor Hope.
