Steven Alan Gallagher

November 3, 1950 - August 22, 2015

Steven Alan Gallagher was born Nov. 3, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH and passed away Aug. 22, 2015 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 64. He was the son of the late Michael & Dorothy Holmes Gallagher.

On Feb. 15, 1980 Steve was united in marriage to Aimee Collins Gallagher. In addition to his loving wife of 35 years, he is survived by a daughter: Rebecca (Matt) Jones; a son: Ethan Gallagher; a sister: Mary Ellen (John) Davis; and 2 grandchildren: Claire and Hannah Jones. He was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Holmes Gallagher.

Steve was a social worker for the State of Kentucky as well as Covington Protestant Children's Home. He was an accomplished author having published several poems and enjoyed writing novels. He was also an avid reader and loved art as well as archery.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, Aug. 24, 2015 at the Grassy Creek Christian Church in Demossville. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the Wilmington Baptist Church Cemetery in Demossville.
