Norma Francis Roland Kerns

March 31, 1943 - August 5, 2015

A Scottsville, KY resident, Mrs. Norma Roland Kerns, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at her residence at the age of 72. She was the widow of Jack W. Kerns.

Mrs. Kerns was a retired manager of abandoned property for the city of Charlotte, NC. She was a native of Owen and Grant Counties.

Norma was born to the late Clarence and Claudine Race Roland in Owenton, KY. In addition to her husband Jack, she is preceded in death by her brother, Blaine Roland and grandson Jessie Fields.

She is survived by four sons, Bill Wright (Lisa) of Martinsville, IN, Terry Wright (Melanie) of Smiths Grove, KY, Jerry Wright (Kay) of Bonnieville, KY, Steve Kerns (Cindy) of Charlotte, NC, three daughters, Michele Fields (Roland) of Nineveh, IN, Cynthiana Thompson (Jeffrey) of Fishers, IN, Melissa Cox (Freddie) of Greenwood, IN, Deborah Stone of Buell, UT, Sandra Johnston (David) of Bullhead City, AZ, Monica Held (Rome) of Burlington, KY, three brothers, Buford Roland of Indianapolis, IN, Billy Roland of Warsaw, KY, Bobby Roland of Nineveh, IN, six sisters, Aline Kenney of Mason, KY, Sue Perkins of Mason, KY, Georgetta Duncan of Owenton, KY, Dora Griffin of Ft. Thomas, KY, Betty Souder of Lakeland, FL, Vicky Adams of Warsaw, KY, 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Homes in Williamstown. Funeral services will be Monday at 12:30 pm at the funeral home.
