Minnie Irene Fornash Plunkett

October 11, 1923 - July 14, 2015

Minnie Fornash Plunkett of Crittenden, KY was born October 11, 1923 and died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Grant Manor Nursing Home, Williamstown at the age of 91.

She was the daughter of the late William Violet and Julia Blaine Carter Fornash, a homemaker, and a member of the Crittenden Baptist Church. In November of 1940 Minnie was united in marriage to her husband, Elner Lewis Plunkett, who preceded her in death on July 13, 2000.
Surviving is 2 sons, Wm. Ervin Plunkett of Corinth, and David Lewis Plunkett of Crittenden; 2 daughters, Alice Covey and Louise Mason both of Crittenden; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Minnie was also preceded in death by 1 daughter, Christine Northcutt in 1989.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden followed by burial in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am - 1:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
