Donna Vickers Ruff

January 11, 1955 - June 21, 2015

Donna Rae Vickers Ruff, of Crittenden and formerly of Covington,was born in Covington on January 11, 1955 and passed away at her home Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the age of 60. Mrs. Ruff was the daughter of Raymond Darpel and Betty Jean Vickers Darpel. She was adopted and raised by Harvey and Mary Elizabeth Robinson Vickers.

Donna is survived by her father; sisters: Judy Littrell of Crittenden and Connie Cobb of Falmouth; brothers: Leslie Vickers of Avondale, OH, Ronald Vickers of Brooksville, OH and Robert Vickers of Tallahassee, FL; half sisters: Tina, Debbie and Shelly; and half brother: Jimmy Darpel. In addition to her mother and adoptive parents, four sisters preceded Mrs. Ruff in death: Joyce Houston, Alberta Vaughn, Katherine Wilson and Sue Griess.

Donna worked for many years at The Gap Distribution Center as a Picker. She remained a member of the Violet Ridge Church of Christ in Crittenden.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Visitation will also be on Friday from Noon until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery, Walton, KY.
