Jean Lee Hornbeck

March 6, 1931 - June 2, 2015

On June 2nd, 2015, the ever radiant Jean L. Hornbeck gained her heavenly wings. United in marriage for 65½ years to Harold H. Hornbeck, they shared a unique, adoring love like none other.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 sons and3 daughters: Harold Hornbeck of Covington, Sheila (Anthony) Roedig of Covington, Walter (Angela) Hornbeck of Butler, David (Lucy) Hornbeck of Covington, Joan (Matt) Moore of Taylor Mill, and Laura (John) Flesch of Covington, 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.Jean was the last of 9 children.
She was a proud homemaker and devoted nurturing wife, loving mother and grandmother. Above all Jean was a faithful Christian, who was an active member of the Gideons Auxiliary for over 25 years. For many years she was a corresponding secretary for the Happy Hearts Club at Jewish Hospital where she excelled in her impeccable penmanship. Her famous stories, bright smile, and zest for life will carry on in the hearts of everyone who knew her for years to come.
Visitation will be 2:00 PM-6:00 PM on Sunday, June 7th at The Madison Avenue Christian Church, 1530 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY.Funeral services will be Monday, June 8th at 10:00 AM at the church.burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger, KY.
