Manuel Elam

June 13, 1943 - March 31, 2015

Manuel Elam was born June 13, 1943 in Burg, Kentucky and passed away March 31, 2015 in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 71. He was the son of the late Robert Carl and Sarah Alice Watson Elam.

Manuel was a retired factory worker for F.H. Lawson

He is survived by a son: Jason Elam of Glencoe; a daughter: Shonda Renee Perkins; two brothers: Bob Elam of Verona and Donald Elam of Berea; two sisters: Chesley Rudd of Verona and Jean Keeton of Mt. Sterling; and four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Manuel was preceded in death by an infant son; three brothers: Hershle Elam, Dalton Elam and Owens Elam; and a sister: Emma Lois Settles.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 7 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona with Rev. Charles Elam officiating. Visitation will be Noon - 2:00 PM Tuesday. Burial will be in Concord Pentecostal Cemetery in Verona.
