Nelda Ruth Crump

November 7, 1929 - March 10, 2015

Nelda Ruth Crump was born in Grant County, Kentucky on November 7, 1929 and passed away at the Edgemont Healthcare Center in Cynthiana, Kentucky on March 10, 2015 at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late William Marshall and Ora Scroggin Crump.

Nelda is survived by her brother, Joe Crump of Hebron; sister, Luella Bender of Germantown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Clara Watson and brother, Charles Crump and special lifelong friend, Jim Bressert.

A member of the Williamstown Baptist Church, Ms. Crump was a lifelong "caregiver" in every thing she did, helping people throughout her life, with housekeeping, daycare, and even assisting at the Coates Funeral Home. She retired from the Grant County School System in June of 1992 where she served as an aide in the Special Education classes.

Funeral services for Ms. Crump will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 14, 2015at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Saturday. Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Williamstown Baptist Church or the Hospice of the Bluegrass, Cynthiana.
