Lonnie A. Kerr, 74, of Dry Ridge and originally Columbia, KY passed away and took his final journey home on March 4, 2015.


Lonnie was a hard working, dedicated truck driver of over 40 years for Crosset Company and a long-time faithful member of the Cynthia Blue Lodge #155 F&AM of Cincinnati, OH. Upon retiring, he became a devoted care giver to his wife of 54 years.
In his last years, Lonnie enjoyed being outdoors, walking his dog, relaxing on his porch, and working on his car and truck. He also enjoyed spending time with family, playing with his grandkids, and socializing with folks--never a stranger met.
Preceeded in death by his father, Clarence Osbie and mother, Laura Ann (Rooks) Kerr. Survived by his wife Kay Geraldine (Messer) Kerr; two daughters, Laura Jean Sizelove and Annette Geraldine Kerr Arrington (of Memphis, TN); one son, Lonnie A. Kerr II; two brothers, Ronnie L. Kerr and Clarence O. Kerr Jr., and one sister, Linda Kerr Burton (of Russell Springs, KY); six grandchildren, Christy, Robby, Terrie, Brian, Kyle & Madison; and three great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Jacob & Matilda.
A beloved Husband, loving Dad, and playful Grandpa, Lonnie will be sorely missed, but will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and his little K-9 buddy, Joy.

Members of the Cynthia Blue Masonic Lodge will be officiating the funeral service at 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden, KY. Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 pm, Sunday at the funeral home.
