Pearl Pickett Chipman, of Holbrook,was born on White Chapel Road in the Holbrook Community of Grant County, Kentucky on March 9, 1944 and passed away at St. Elizabeth, Edgewood on March 3, 2015 at the age of 70. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ora Bates Pickett.


Mrs. Chipman is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward Davis Chipman, daughters: Tracy (Jerry) Paulley of Georgetown and Susie Florer of Falmouth; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters: Norma Gaskins of Holbrook, Mary Lou Smith of Dry Ridge, Linda Kalinyak of Owenton and Donna Sue Wright of Owenton; brothers: George Pickett of Holbrook and Eugene Pickett of Williamstown.


Pearl worked for several years as a greeter at the Dry Ridge Walmart. She had also worked at State Machine Company of Dry Ridge and Jefferson Electric in Williamstown. She attended the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Holbrook.


Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St. Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Holbrook, KY.
