Buddy "Bud" Wayne Perkins

Buddy "Bud" Perkins, 50, of Glencoe, Kentucky, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Whitesburg, Kentucky.

He was the son of the late Prentice and Louise Fern Jenkins Perkins, owner of Home Comfort Heating and Air in Walton, KY, and was united in marriage to his wife Gail Elaine Luster Perkins on March 14, 1981.

In addition to his wife Gail, Bud is also survived by 4 sons, Keith Luster of Wilder, Michael Perkins of Sparta, John Proffitt, and Jacob Proffitt both of Glencoe; 3 daughters, Barbara Perkins of Sparta, Jennifer Perkins and Jackolyn Perkins, both of Glencoe; 16 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Rickey and Danny Perkins, both of Glencoe; and 2 sisters, Hazel Perkins, and Norma Fay Proffitt, both of Covington.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Broadridge Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Kentucky. Visitation will be after 11:00am Monday at the funeral home.
