Rodney Clayton Renaker

November 17, 1932 - January 31, 2013

Rodney Clayton Renaker was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Boone Co., Kentucky and passed away Jan. 31, 2013 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 80. He was the son of the late Clayton Lucas and Freida Elizabeth Judy Renaker.

On Oct. 17, 1953, Rodney was united in marriage with Bonita Faye "Bonnie" Washum Renaker. In addition to his wife, Rodney is survived by three daughters: Dianna Tucker (Donald) of Warsaw, Minka Baillie of Florence, and Tammy Skaggs (Joel) of Sparta;2 sisters: Kim Martin of Erlanger and Pam of Verona;a brother: Jeff Renaker (Sandy) of Verona; 7 grandchildren:Donn Lynn, Derek, Shannon, Briah, Christopher, Zachary, and Danielle; and 7great grandchildren: Trace, Avery, Alex, Derek, Kayla, Logan, and Jersey.

Rodney was preceded in death by a brother: Roger Renaker and 3 sisters: Judy Holmes, Ruby Goderwis,and Kelly Kannady.

He wasa member of the Crescent Springs Presbyterian Church and a formermember of the New BethelBaptist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Burlington Lodge as well as a veteran of theU.S. States Air Force andretired from Equitable Bag Co. in 1995.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery.
