Marcella Zane Lawrence Lillard

May 20, 1924 - June 23, 2012

Marcella Lillard, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Grant Manor Health Care Center in Williamstown at the age of 88. Mrs. Lillard was the widow of William Hayden Lillard who passed away in 2001 and daughter of the late Ray and Mary Julia Sams Lawrence.

She was a Deputy Grant County Circuit Court Clerk for fifteen years and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Dry Ridge where she was a former Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Taylor of Dry Ridge, five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Pascal Lillard; a daughter, Rhea Lee Kennedy and brother, Rev. Raymond Eugene Lawrence.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Wednesday at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main St., Crittenden, KY 41030. Funeral services will be at 11am with visitation after 10am, Thursday, June 28th at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 5320 Sherman-Mt. Zion Road, Dry Ridge, KY 41035. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery.
