Stanley Eugene Legg

July 23, 1937 - May 25, 2012

Stanley Legg of Verona, Kentucky was born July 23, 1937, in Elwood, Indiana, and passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at his residence at the age of 74.

Stanley was the son of the late Roscoe Raymond and Adda Smith Legg, a retired inspector for General Motors and a member of the Elks Lodge #209 in Anderson, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife Doris Payne Etson Legg of Verona, KY; 2 sons, Jeffrey (Angie) Legg of Columbus, IN, and Mark (Tammy) Etson of Union, KY; 3 daughters, Beth Legg (Bill) Cannell of Alexandria, IN, Rhonda Etson of Independence, KY, and Dawn (Jeff) Turner of Verona, KY; 17 grandchildren, Ashley, Molly, Morgan, Markie, Tanner, Tyler, Tawni, Tabitha, Tara, Angie, Sarah, Troy, Jeremy, LeAnn, Katie, Brandon, and Alexander; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial reception will take place Wednesday, May 30, 2012, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at the Verona Vineyard, 13815 Walton-Verona Rd. Verona, KY 41092.
