Carol Ruth Brashear Thomas

Carol Ruth Brashear Thomas, 77, of Warsaw passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Gallatin Healthcare in Warsaw.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Moore and Hazel Fern Morgan Brashear, a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church where she was an organist, Sunday School teacher & VBS worker, a homemaker, farmer and former store clerk for Charlie Young''s Grocery. She also played the piano at Dry Ridge Personal Care Home in Dry Ridge for patients on Sundays.

Survivors include her husband of fifty nine years, Redford "Bubby" Thomas, Jr. of Warsaw; a son, Randy Thomas of Walton; a daughter, Judy Thomas of Warsaw; a brother, David Brashear of Warsaw; a sister, Eva Barnett of Dry Ridge and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Bobby" Brashear.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Wednesday, May 23 with funeral at 1pm on Thursday at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Road, Verona, KY 41092. Burial will be in the Napoleon IOOF Cemetery in Warsaw.
