Kiser Wilson

August 16, 1932 - May 18, 2012

Kiser Wilson was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on August 16, 1932 and passed away at his residence in Gallatin County, Kentucky on May 18, 2012 at the age of 79.He was the son of the late Raleigh and Ella Bailey Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was united in marriage with the former Grethel Mae Mullins on July 3, 1957.In addition to his loving wife of over 54 years, Kiser is survived by one son: Scott Wilson of Verona; one brother: Donnie Wilson of Mt. Sterling; two sisters: Devonia Vance andBrenda Lockhart, both of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; two step grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.Four brothers, Rolla "Pat" Wilson, J. C. Wilson, Billy Wilson and Richard Wilson and two sisters: Esther Oliver and Marlene Farris all preceded Kiser in death.
A member of the Concord Pentecostal Church, Kiser was a lifelong farmer and a former special equipment operator for the Kentucky Department of Transportation.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton - Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092.Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
