Edward Lee Cavins was born on February 20, 1940 and passed away on April 21, 2012 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 72. He was the son of the late George and Sudie Reese Cavins.
On September 9, 1961 Edward was united in marriage to Wilma C. Wolfinbarger Cavins. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Tena Feagan of Berry; a brother: Denver Cavins of Dry Ridge; two sisters: Sophie Pennington of Dry Ridge and Marie Madden of Tyner; and a grandson: Cody Edward Moore of Berry.
He was an auto parts recycler for Reitman Auto Parts of Melbourne, KY. He was also a member of the Amateur Trap Shooting Association and the Crittenden AAA Gun Club. One of his greatest joys in life was trap shooting with his grandson, Cody
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 24, at 11:00 AM at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. The burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
