Shirley Helen Strawn

November 8, 1923 - March 22, 2012

Shirley Nelson Strawn, 88, of Williamstown passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown.

She was the Executive Secretary for the Southern California Edison Company, a member of the Williamstown Christian Church, a member of the US Coast Guard during WWII, the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Sarah Helen Hickin Nelson and the wife of the late Donald A. Strawn.

Survivors include two brothers, Robert A. (Lillian) Nelson of Orland Park, IL, Ronald J. (Ginny) Nelson of Oak Brook, IL; two step sons, Paul (Kathy) Strawn of Mill Creek, WA, Chuck (Connie) Strawn of Wenatchee, WA; five grandchildren and close friends, Douglas A. and Gwendolyn Thoroughman and family of Williamstown.

Visitation will be 3pm-3:30pm with memorial service at 3:30pm, Sunday, March 25, at the Williamstown Christian Church, 318 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.
