Mary Eleene Walton Race

Mary E. Race of Crittenden, KY, was born June 5, 1943 in Covington, KY, and died Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Williamstown, KY, at the age of 68.

She was the daughter of the late Elwood Hedges and Bernice Mitchell Walton, former owner and operator of Hair Design II hair salon in Erlanger, KY and a member of the Shiloh Full Gospel Church, Grant County, KY.

In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Mitchell and Elwood Hedges Walton.

Mary is survived by her husband Pastor Floyd W. Race, 5 daughters, Tina Ramey of Cincinnati, OH, Denise Jeffries of Ft. Mitchell, KY, Jennifer Jones of Florence, KY, Andrea Clem of Ft. Mitchell, KY, and Amanda Dunn of Dry Ridge, KY; 1 step-daughter, Rebecca Armstrong of Burlington, KY; 2 step-sons, Nathan Race of Union, KY, and Eric Race of Crittenden, KY; and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4:00-9:00pm Sunday, March 11, at the Shiloh Full Gospel Church, 266 Keefer Rd., Corinth, KY. Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Monday, March 12, at the church. Burial in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY.
