Dorothy Abbott King

April 28, 1933 - March 8, 2012

Dorothy Abbott King, 78 of Williamstown passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence.

She worked for the Rich Ladder Company in Carrollton and was a member of the Family Worship Center in Williamstown. She was the daughter of the late Buell Dixon and Roberta Wright Abbott and widow of the late Wilburn Arthur King.

Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Williams of Williamstown; a brother, Franklin Abbott of Carrollton; four sisters, Ruth Cook of Owenton, Kathryn Dews of Cincinnati, OH, Viola Cook of Williamstown and Linda Fletcher of Morganton, NC. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Lola Abbott and Betty Race.

Visitation will be 11am-1pm, with funeral service at 1pm, Monday, March 12th at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Carrollton IOOF Cemetery.
