Greg "Red" Brooks

September 4, 1963 - March 2, 2012

Greg "Red" Brooks, 48 of Dry Ridge passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 after a tragic weather related accident in Crittenden, KY.

He was a self-employed truck driver and contractor and the son of James Hubert and Betty Lou Lowery Brooks of Newnan, GA.

Other survivors include a wife, Laura Abshire Atha of Dry Ridge; two sons, James Joshua Brooks of Georgia, Steven Edward Brooks of Covington; a daughter, Amanda Lee Brooks Inman of Georgia; a step son, Charles "C.J." Lewis of Dry Ridge; a brother, Jeffery McLenord Brooks of Georgia and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4pm-7pm, with funeral service at 7pm, Wednesday, March 7th at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Newnan, Georgia.
