Barbara Hopper

June 9, 1930 - January 31, 2012

Barbara Hopper, 81, of Berry passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Grant Manor Care & Rehabilitation Center, Williamstown.

She was the daughter of the late Estill O. and Thelma Milner Hopper. She was an elementary school teacher for thirty seven years for McKinley Elementary School in Warren, MI and eleven years for Mason Elementary in Grant County. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ, Williamstown, the Grant County Historical Society and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Survivors include a lifelong family friend, Norma Lusby of Berry; a brother, John (Eva) Hopper of Williamstown; a sister Freda (Bill) Steinagel of Portage, MI; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4pm - 8pm, Friday, February 3 with funeral service at 2pm, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
