Henry Skirvin, 81, of Williamstown passed away Thursday, January 12th at St. Elizabeth-Edgewood.
He was a signal maintainer for Norfolk-Southern Railroad for 40 years; a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen and a custodian for Eagle Bank. He was the son of the late John and Annie Bradford Sebastian Skirvin and the husband for over sixty one years of the late Flora Louise Wren Skirvin.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Kyde of Hamilton, OH, Deborah Padgett of Williamstown; three grandchildren, Robert Kyde, Joseph Kyde, Danielle Padgett and one great granddaughter, Angela Kearney. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Kenneth Kyde.
Visitation will be 5:30-9:00pm, Saturday, January 14, 2012 with funeral service 2:00pm, Sunday, January 15th at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
