David John Hale

April 20, 1940 - November 26, 2011

David Hale, 71, of Crittenden passed away Saturday, November 26th at St. Elizabeth-Grant County Hospital, Williamstown.

He was a truck driver for Anchor Motor Freight in Pontiac, Michigan, a member of a Teamster Union, and a member of the Community Family Church in Independence, KY. He also served his country in the US Air Force where he received the Good Conduct Medal.

He was the son of the late Festus and Edith Kerber Hale. He was married for forty four years to Carolyn Ruth Jones Hale who preceded him in death in May 2011. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Loveless.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy Hale of Crittenden, David John Hale, III of Elsmere; one daughter, Ann Stidams of Crittenden; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11am - 1pm with the funeral service at 1pm, Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main Street, Crittenden, KY 41030. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-North, Williamstown, KY.
