John Thomas Thurman

November 6, 1942 - November 24, 2011

John Thomas Thurman was born November 6, 1942 in Henry Co., Kentucky and passed away on November 24, 2011 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Sam and Nellie Justice Thurman.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Race Thurman in 2004 and a sister Shirley Withrow.

He is survived by a son: Billy Messer; two daughters: Frances Sue Thurman and Loretta Lynn Thurman; three sisters: Evelyn Thurman, Carolyn Hurst, and Linda Messer; and 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services for John will be Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. The visitation will be Tuesday from Noon to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The burial will follow in the Keefer Cemetery.
