Edith Louise McCormick

August 29, 1932 - November 11, 2011

Edith Ashcraft McCormick, 79, of Covington, formerly of Grant County, passed away on Friday, November 11th at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Cash Wilbur and Nancy Mae Johnson Ashcraft. On June 10, 1945, Edith was united in matrimony with Thomas Earl McCormick who preceded her in death following more than 62 years in marriage. She is also preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Wayne and David Matthew McCormick and a daughter, Judy Buchanan. She was an employee of the Duro Bag Company for fifteen years and a member of the First Pentecostal Apostolic Church, Cincinnati, OH.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam Jennings of Covington; two sons, Thomas McCormick of Covington, Bobby McCormick of High Point, NC; fifteen grandchildren; a large number of great grandchildren as well as several great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10am - 12:00 Noon with funeral service at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 19th at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main Street, Crittenden, KY 41030. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
