Clarence "Rodney" Vest

Clarence "Rodney" Vest, a Verona Resident, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence, at the age of 73. Rodney was a retired floor installer of more than 30 years, a farmer, an Army veteran, and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona.

Mr. Vest was born in 1937 to the late Clarence 'Chink' Vest and Gracie Mae Burnette. He is survived by his wife Norma Locke Vest, one son, Rodney Dwayne Vest of Verona, KY, two daughters, Jeannine Renee Rohrkasse of Walton, KY, Jennifer Anne Cook of Crittenden, KY, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Vest will be Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 10am to 1 pm with the funeral to follow at 1 pm at the Hamilton Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Burial will be at the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY. Memorials are suggested to the New Bethel Baptist Church, P.O. Box 100, Verona, KY 41092
