William C Tinch

July 29, 1922 - October 13, 2011

William C. Tinch, 89 of Beattyville, formerly of Verona, passed away Thursday, October 13th at Lee County Nursing Home in Beattyville.

He was a laborer with Imperial Plumbing & Heating Company in Covington and a member of the Verona Church of Christ.

He was the son of the late Joel Miller Tinch and Mattie Rebecca Pruett Tinch and the widower of Sallie Thompson Tinch. He is also preceded in death by a step son, Donald McClure, five brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Mattie Bumgardner of Florence, Rita Burnell Deaton of Buckhorn; a step daughter, Lucy Jean Mullins of Somerset; eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7pm, Sunday, October 16 with funeral 11am, Monday, October 17 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Road, Verona, KY 41092. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Independence, KY.
