Alleen Wells Ducker

Alleen Wells Ducker, 96, of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011at the St. Elizabeth-Grant County Hospital, Williamstown.

She was a packer for Liberty Cherry Company for 18 years and a former custodian for Williamstown Baptist Church. She was a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church; Locust Grove Council #176, Jr. Order United American Mechanics, Williamstown Daughters of America and a Kentucky Colonel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ewell Jerry & Stella Lanter Wells; her husband, William Russell Ducker, a twin brother, James Newton Wells and a sister, Marie Wolfe.

Survivors include a son, Donald Ray Wells of Williamstown; a nephew, Everett Eugene Wells of Walton; a niece, Dorothy Lee Kohake of Edgewood; many great nephews, great nieces and great, great nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be 5-9pm, Friday, September 30 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with funeral services Saturday, October 1 at 2pm at Gum Lick Baptist Church, 4235 Gumlick Road, Falmouth, KY 41040. Burial will be in the Gum Lick Baptist Church Cemetery.
