Jessalyn Kai Phillips

October 23, 1986 - August 28, 2011

Jessalyn Kai Phillips, 24 of Jonesboro, Arkansas died unexpectedly on August 28, 2011. She is survived by her parents, Greg and Louise Phillips and a brother, Isaac Phillips all of Jonesboro, AR. She was the granddaughter of the late Dr. Ronald E. and Sue Conrad Phillips formerly of Grant County.

Jessalyn (Jessie) was born October 23, 1986 in Las Cruces, New Mexico and has lived in and around Jonesboro since 2003. Jessie was an aspiring vocalist and was studying to become a music teacher. She loved Broadway musicals. Jessie had a flare for poetry and design as well as music.

She was her Papa''s Valentine. Jessie brought cats and dogs into her family''s lives. Her friends adored her for her enthusiasm, joy of life and unique sense of humor. She had a close relationship with her brother and loved to watch movies and series with him. She was her father''s muse and enjoyed singing with him. She was her mother''s baby of the family.

Her absence leaves a tremendous hole in our lives and an ache in our hearts. We will miss her deeply.

A graveside service will be held at the Hill Crest Cemetery, US 25, Dry Ridge, KY on Tuesday, September 6th at 10:00am. Arrangements made by Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.
