Mildred Merrill

December 29, 1928 - August 29, 2011

Mildred May Wainscott Merrill was born in Walton, Kentucky on December 29, 1928 and passed away at her residence in Walton on August 29, 2011 at the age of 82. She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Nellie Pearl Riley Wainscott. She was the last survivor of five children.

Mrs. Merrill was united in marriage with Raymond Paul Merrill on October 9, 1948. Mr. Merrill passed away on September 13, 1980. From this union one son: Troy Merrill of Falmouth, KY and five daughters: Connie Crabtree of Independence, KY, Carolyn Rae Merrill of Walton, KY, Joan Allen of Crittenden, KY, Ginger Menifee of Independence, KY and Joyce Deadman of Falmouth, KY were born. In addition to her loving children, Mrs. Merrill is survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
