Verna Ruth Galloway Adams

April 12, 1920 - August 19, 2011

Verna Ruth Galloway Adams, 91, resident of Erlanger, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011 in Fairfield, Oh. following a long illness.

She was a native of Bracken Co., KY. and daughter of the late Wiley Taylor Galloway and Hallie Cleveland Snedegar Galloway. She was a homemaker , a retired employee of Levi Strauss & Co., Florence., and member of the Elsmere Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ray William Adams in 1999, two sisters, Helen Pavey and Kathryn Blackburn and one brother, Donald Galloway.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Gore of Fairfield, OH., one son, Connie A. Adams, Rennselaer, In., five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation from ll:00am -l:00 pm Tues., Aug. 23, at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY. 41097. Funeral service at l:00 pm Tues. at the funeral home. Interment in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton Co., KY.
