Albert Moore

July 19, 1955 - August 13, 2011

Albert John Moore, Sr. was born in Kenton County, Kentucky on July 19, 1955 and passed away at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky on August 13, 2011 at the age of 56. He was the son of the late Charles Melton and Louise Laverne Reinders Moore.

On January 19, 1974, Albert was united in marriage with the former Sheila Fay Dunagin. In addition to his loving wife of 37 years, Mr. Moore is survived by three daughters: Darlene Downey of Crittenden, KY, Nancy Hart of Glencoe, KY and Kathy Moore of Sparta, KY; three sons: Paul Mullins of Crittenden, KY, James Moore of Verona, KY and Albert John Moore, Jr. of Verona, KY; three brothers: Michael Moore of Virginia Beach, VA, Richard Moore of Florence, KY and Steve Moore of Warsaw, KY; two sisters: Laura McQuerry of Burlington, KY and Anita Moore of Erlanger, KY; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Moore was the former manager of Baker's Truck Stop in Florence, KY and a former transmission mechanic for AAMCO and LATCO.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2010 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY.
