Mary Ruth Davis

May 27, 1930 - August 11, 2011

Mary Ruth Davis, 81, of Harrodsburg, KY formerly of Grant County passed away Thursday, August 11th at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.

She was the daughter of the late John Foster and Nellie Webster Johns and was also preceded in death by her husband of thirty three years, George C. Davis and a son, Gary Lynn Davis.

She was a homemaker and former nurse''s aide and a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Jonesville, KY.

Survivors include a son, James Davis of Harrodsburg, KY; two daughters, Dana Sue McGuire of East Palatka, FL, Connie Jane Davis of Berry, KY; two step sons, Harold Davis of Rushville, IN, William Ronald Davis of Georgetown, KY; one step daughter, Carol Merascia of East Palatka, FL; twenty one grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Noon - 2pm, Sunday, August 14th with funeral service at 2pm at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Jonesville, KY.
