James David Conner

June 24, 1945 - July 22, 2011

James David Conner of Crittenden, Kentucky was born June 24, 1945 in Breathitt County, Kentucky. He passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at his residence at the age of 66.

James was the son of the late Charles Conner and Mary Ethel Allen Conner Feltner. He was a retired maintenance employee of International Permalite in Florence, Kentucky, a truck driver for Dependable Express in Hebron, Kentucky, a member of Community Pentecostal Church in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, and was united in marriage on May 1, 1964 to his wife Willena Miller Conner.

In addition to his wife of 47 years, James is survived by 1 son, James Rodney Conner of Crittenden, KY; 1 daughter, Deena Snedegar of Crittenden, KY; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 half-brothers, Paul Conner of Latonia, KY and Thomas Conner of Covington, KY; 2 half-sisters, Charlene Farmer and Sue Conner both of Newport, KY; and a step-mother Joann Conner of Newport, KY.

Funeral Services for James will be at 11:00am Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY, with burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
