James W Riddle

March 23, 1933 - July 21, 2011

James W. Riddle, 78 of Florence went to his heavenly home Thursday, July 21st at Bridge Point Care & Rehab. Center.

He was the son of the late Elmer Gene and Hallie Gladys Noel Riddle and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was also a Kentucky Colonel, served in the US Army during the Korean conflict and retired as service manager after thirty years with the Goodyear Tire Company in Cincinnati, OH. His happiest days was his twenty years of motor home life, where he and his wife traveled to 48 states and Canada and spending his winters in Fort Myers, Florida.

Survivors include his wife of 46 six years, Wanda Riddle of Florence; a son, Terry Riddle of Warsaw; a sister, Corneillia Ford of Ft. Myers, FL; a grandson, Jason Riddle of Warsaw; two granddaughters, Mandy Peters of New Liberty, Ashley Groves of Glencoe; five great grandchildren, Mallory Groves, Logan Groves, Avery Miller, Jayden Riddle and Logan Riddle; several nieces, nephews and a large family of friends.

Visitation will be 11am-2pm with the funeral service at 2pm, Saturday, July 23rd at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main Street, Crittenden, KY 41030. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Demossville, KY.
