Belle Brooks

September 9, 1931 - May 28, 2011

Belle Marie Young Brooks was born in Corinth, Kentucky on September 9, 1931 and passed away at her residence in Crittenden, Kentucky on May 28, 2011 at the age of 79. She was the daughter of the late Elbert Arthur and Mary Belle Martin Young.

On February 15, 1947 she was united in marriage with Thomas E. Brooks. In addition to her loving husband of 64 years, Belle is survived by one son: Ed Brooks of Crittenden; three daughters: Virginia Marie Beard of London, KY, Tina Bryant of Crittenden, KY and "Drema" Hyden of Crittenden, KY; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Brooks was a long time employee of the Levi Strauss Company. Funeral services wil be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY with visitation at the funeral home from Noon until 2:00 PM Wednesday. Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
