Joan Riegler

December 17, 1941 - May 27, 2011

Helen Joan Twehues Riegler was born in Springlake, Kentucky in Kenton County on December 17, 1941 and passed away at her residence in Verona, Kentucky in Boone County on May 27, 2011 at the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late Virgil Allen and Myrtle Riddle Twehues.

Joan is survived by her husband, Harry P. Riegler, Two daughters: Dione R. Riegler and Dana S. Riegler; two sons: Carl A. Riegler and Rodney S. Riegler all of Verona; three brothers: Donald Twehues of Park Hills, KY; David Twehues and Douglas Twehues both of Ryland Heights, KY and other relatives and friends. One brother, Daniel Twehues preceded Joan in death.

Mrs. Riegler retired as an Elementary Teacher from the Collins Elementary School in Boone County in 2001. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, May 30, 2011 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
