Norman Glenn Whitaker

January 31, 1933 - May 23, 2011

Norman G. Whitaker, born January 31, 1933in Lunar, KY, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at his residence in Walton, KY.



Mr. Whitaker was a truck driver, heavy equipment operator and farmer. He attended English Christian Church in Carrollton, KY, but was a member of South Fork Christian Church, Warsaw, KY. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Van Thomas & Viola Rowe Whitaker; a brother, Boyd Whitaker and twin infant brothers.



Survivors include his wife of thirty eight years, Betty Kennedy Whitaker of

Walton; one son, Glenn Whitaker of Owenton; two step-sons, Robert Joe Miller and Ricky Miller both of Walton; a sister, Doris Gadd of Berea; two

grandchildren and two great-grandchldren.



Visitation will be 10am - 2pm with funeral at 2pm, Friday, May 27, 2011 at

the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY41092. Burial will be in the Beaver Lick Christian Church Cemetery, Walton, KY.
