Irene Simpson Link

April 30, 1917 - April 6, 2011

Irene Shirley Simpson Link was born in Williamstown, KY in 1917 anddied Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at her residence in Williamstown at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late Fred William and Mabel See Simpson.

Survivors include two sons, Darrell and Jeffrey Link of Williamstown; two sisters, Maxine Brown, Willena Lonkard both of Williamstown; one brother, Billy Frank Simpson of Williamstown; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and member of the Williamstown Christian Church. Preceding her in death are three sons, Daniel Ray, Donald Gene and Thomas Jefferson Link; a daughter, Marlene Link Switzer; a sister, Lily Mae Kinman; four brothers, Eugene, Charles Donald, Robert Buford and Kenneth Simpson.

Visitation will be 10am to 2pm with funeral service at 2pm, Saturday, April 9th at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
