Thelma F. Baker, 91 of Warsaw, KY died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Gallatin County Health Care Center, Warsaw, KY. Thelma was the daughter of the late Ralph Woods and Mary (Mollie) Rogers Kemper. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Robert Kemper. She was a native of Covington, Kentucky , born on October 2, 1919.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband of sixty eight years, Charles E. Baker, Jr. of Warsaw, KY; one son, Ralph Baker of Sparta, KY; five daughters, Bonnie Mullikin of Ellettsville, IN, Deborah Marksberry of Verona, KY, Pamela Hutchinson of Verona, KY, Patricia Kemper of Ghent, KY and Tina Riddle of Warsaw, KY; seventeen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
A member of the South Fork Christian Church, Warsaw, KY, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Ghent #441, where she was Past Worthy Matron and secretary.
Visitation will be 5pm to 9pm, Friday, April 8, 2011 with funeral service at 10am, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Road, Verona, KY 41092. Burial will be in the Hughes Chapel Cemetery, Union, KY.
