Jeff Edward Eddins

October 18, 1938 - March 24, 2011

Jeff Edward Eddins, 72 of Dry Ridge passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY.

He worked over thirty five years for Cincinnati Bell, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Knoxville Baptist Church, Dry Ridge, KY, a Kentucky Colonel , a farmer and outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Edward Eddins, mother, Frances Presser Eddins Dixon and a brother, David Eddins.

Survivors include his wife of fifty four years, Joan Eddins; four daughters, Phylliss Lyn Fryman of Batavia, OH, Diane Lee Griffin of Verona, KY, Jennifer Ann Hamilton of Canton, TX, Aimee Joan Eddins of Ft. Thomas, KY; one brother, William Lee Eddins of Independence, KY; two sisters, Pat Locke of Miamisburg, OH, Mary Gaines of Dry Ridge, KY; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12:00pm to 2pm with funeral service at 2pm, Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main Street, Crittenden, KY 41030. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.
