Martha Isaacs Furnish

Martha Jane Isaacs Furnish was born in Lee County, Kentucky on April 5, 1941 and passed away at her residence in Louisville, Kentucky on March 23, 2011 at the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late James Glass and Euthenia Josephine Edwards Isaacs.

Her husband, Jackie Newton Furnish preceded her in death. Mrs. Furnish is survived by one son: Ricky Isaacs of Carrollton, KY; sisters: Emily Raper of Jonesville, KY, Vickie Short of Erlanger, KY, Edna Mae Ritchie of Cincinnati, OH, Sarah Kay Aubrey of Cynthiana, KY, Faye Polanco of San Antonio, TX; brothers: Dwight McComas of Williamstown, KY, Sam McComas of Jonesville, KY, Randall McComas of Elsmere, KY, Gary McComas of Richmond, KY, Lonnie McComas of Owenton, KY, Murrell McComas of Salvisa, KY, Buford McComas of Warroad, MN and Albert McComas of Nome, AK; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Martha had worked for Kawneer in Carrollton, Ky. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with visitation at the funeral home after noon on Sunday. Burial will follow in the Bethany Church Cemetery, Holbrook, KY. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
