Nelson Rose

June 28, 1940 - February 19, 2011

Nelson Rose, 70 of Florence, KY, formerly of Crittenden, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his residence.

He was the former owner of Falcon Construction Corp. in Burlington, KY. He was a member of the Sherman Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel, the past Master of Lodge #949 F&AM, the past Associate Grand Guardian of KY State Chapter of Job''s Daughters, the past Associate Bethel Guardian of Bethel #19, Florence, KY and served in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Arthur and Lorena Works Rose; two brothers, Robert and Joseph Rose and his wife, Ida Mae Sturgeon Rose.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Rose of Florence, KY, David Rose of Independence, KY; one daughter, Kimberly Anglin of Dry Ridge, KY; one sister, Lenore Rose of Dry Ridge, KY; a fiance, Eula "Sam" Miller; eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, February 23, 2011 with funeral service 11 am on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main Street, Crittenden, KY 41030. Burial will be in the Gardnersville Cemetery, Gardnersville, KY.
