Gwendola Spencer Riley

September 2, 1944 - February 5, 2011

Gwendola Spencer Riley, 66 of Williamstown passed away at the St. Elizabeth-Grant County Hospital on Saturday, February 5, 2011.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Katherine Pollard Spencer. She was employed by the Clarion Corp. of America, Walton, KY in qualtiy control. She had also worked for Williamstown Schools and Jefferson Electric, Williamstown. She was a member of the Sherman Church of Christ in Dry Ridge. She was also a member of the Williamstown Homemakers, Erlanger Lions Club and was a Kentucky Colonel.

She is survived by her husband of over 45 years, Raymond Riley of Williamstown; two sons, Raymond Riley of Falmouth, Sean V. Riley of Burlington; one daughter, Melissa R. Meece of Williamstown; one brother, Robert Spencer of Florence; two sisters, Margaret Sexton of Cincinnati, OH, Marcella Pangallo of Newport and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Gayle Spencer and two sisters, Janet Burchfield and Charlotte Spencer.

Services: Visitation 11am-1pm with funeral services at 1pm, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097.
